Eldorado Canyon Custom Events
Eldorado Canyon is approximately 45 minutes from Las Vegas and is home to the Techatticup Gold Mine, once the largest producing gold mine in Southern Nevada. This is a great location for a Las Vegas Custom Event, combining great activities, historical relics, and a recreation of an Old Western Town as the backdrop for your event.
The Old Western Town features a covered pavillon, picnic tables, fresh water stream, fire pits, and an old fashioned stage coach..great for photo backgrounds. This recreation was built on the site where the actual miners of the 1830's lived and worked. Two stone cabins have been built that simulate the living quarters of those hearty men who earned their living chiseling by candlelight, hoping to strike it rich.
The ATV Tours and Horseback riding take place on trails originally meant for mule driven ore carts, up and around mountainous terrain surrounded by beautiful cactus gardens.
The kayaking takes place on the Colorado River, about 20 minutes from Eldorado Canyon, the same location where the riverboats docked to bring supplies to the inhabitants of the area.
Hoover Dam is just under an hour away, making it a possible stop before, during or after other activities.
Papillon also has Helicopter Landing pads in Eldorado Canyon, and Helicopter Tours are available including Grand Canyon West and Hoover Dam. This is a great addition to any custom event
We will take care of planning out your event to maximize the time spent on each activiy, with smooth transitions to and from the locations.
Various Team Building Activities are also available at this location, to help your group learn to work together to achieve their goals.

This ATV Tour in Eldorado Canyon is great for groups of all sizes.
You will be riding the ATVs on mountainous terrain, up and around trails originally meant for mule driven ore carts, surrounded by cactus gardens and incredible views.
Vehicles are late model, single seat Suzuki King Quads and Eigers, fully automatic, and a blast to operate. Also avaiable are 2 and 4 Seat RZRs, off road vehicles that operate similar to a car with a steering wheel, and gas and brake pedals.
You can combine the ATV Tour with many other elements at Eldorado Canyon, including Horseback Riding, Kayak Tours, Techatticup Gold Mine, Teambuilding and more.

ATV Tours take place in the same location as the Horse and Gold Mine. The Colorado Riveris approximately 20 minutes away, for kayaking.
Ride a horse in Eldorado Canyon, home to the Techatticup Gold Mine, up and around trails originally meant for mule driven ore carts.
The horses are gentle and well used to the trail and terrain, and your professional wrangler will make sure you feel safe and comfortable during your ride. The cactus gardens and incredible views make the perfect backdrop for your custom event.

Horseback Riding takes place at the same location as the ATV Tours and Gold Mine. Kayaking can be added to tihs, the Colorado River is approximately 20 minutes away.
Add kayaking to your Las Vegas Custom Event in Eldorado Canyon, and you will be paddling on the Colorado River, in the same location where the steamboats docked to load and unload supplies for the thriving mining community of the early 1800's.
The cool, clear waters and towering mountain backdrops are picture perfect, and the paddling couldn't get any easier than with us. Your participants will have their choice of traditional sit down, on top kayaking, or the newer SUP, Stand Up Paddleboard experience. And they don't have to make that decision beforehand and stick with it!
Our vessels are Liquid Logic Hybrids that can take you from standing up to sitting down in seconds. The flip up/fold down seat is comfortable and versatile, giving paddlers the ability to choose their most comfortable position

The Techatticup Gold Mine at Eldorado Canyon is a highlight of any Group Event. This was once the largest producing Gold Mine in Southern Nevada, and the walking tour will amaze you.
As you make your way through this mine, you will marvel at the miners who labored here, feverishily chiseling their way to anticipated riches, protecting their claims from the claim jumpers so prominent in the area.
You will look up shafts as deep at 900 feet, and learn all about the equipment used by these hearty miners. Visit recreations of the buildings and marvel at the conditions they endured in their quest for gold.
